So I recently obtained my belay certification for top-rope rock climbing. I find rock climbing to be an interesting and really an overall fulfilling workout regime because it's a full body workout, but it also involves balance, kinesthetic awareness, confidence, and callouses. It's also a very individual sport, which is perfect for people like me who tend to not be satisfied with remaining at my current level and require movement into new adventures and new lifestyles. I need change in my life in order to know that I am progressing.
This is exactly why I must remain multi-faceted. I am creating a robot, an AM radio receiver, and the artificial brain as mentioned in the previous post. But I am also working on obtaining a pilot's liceanse, starting a business, school, airport work, tour guide work, and possibly in the coming months, working as a hand with the other rock climbing people and the outdoor recreation program on campus. I find that it is best to remain sharp both physically and mentally so that in the future I can still remain sharp.
