The future of the Internet seems to be a scary topic. Just recently, the UK passed an ambiguous law to make ISP's block sites with 'adult content,' and Germany recently brought a new law to the floor that would prevent users from knowing what data is being collected by their Government and ISP.
If this doesn't raise any red flags for you, I'm not sure what will. Nevertheless, personal data storage can fight back. This is a prime example of the retaliation against corporations and governments that overstep their bounds in the name of 'security' or otherwise.
Just remember eveyone, anything you put online, be it 'public' or 'private' is still stored on a computer somewhere where someone else has more power over your data than you do. Stay safe on the Internet, learn the rules, and make sure to always fight for your own good, because no one else will.
