What do you value the most? An unrelated tangent to the last post, but we're still discussing values. I'd urge you to think of what you find the most valuable in your life, then think of some reasons why that's important. Try to avoid physical objects like people or houses or the likes. What can you apply that value to? What ideology embodies your very soul?
Personally, I find myself in balance. If something doesn't feel right, I will take a step back to assure that I am not getting off track - falling out of balance. Especially now in college, balance is vital. Juggling school with work with family with friendships with relationships with activities with physical and mental health is quite a game to play.
But with recognition of balance and the constant strive to achieve it, it's another "fake it till you make it" examples where if you believe your life is balanced, and work to make it so, it will become that way.
Be careful of your thoughts, for your thoughts become your words. Be careful of your words, for your words become your actions. Be careful of your actions, for your actions become your habits. Be careful of your habits, for your habits become your character. Be careful of your character, for your character becomes your destiny. ~Chinese proverb
