Unfortunately, I still need JS for some things to work properly. You're welcome to keep it disabled, but the onus is on you if some things don't work (I promise I'll get around to fixing it)...

Co'Motion Dance Theater

websites

My aunt is a professional dancer and choreographer, so I remade her website (originally made in Wix). Unfortunately, Wix does not provide highly customizable themes that are easily ported onto a mobile platform, meaning that her original website would cut off information and not display correctly in a mobile browser or on a small screen. There were also a number of dead links and various inconsistencies among the pages.

Using predominantly php and straight html, I reformed the website from scratch, and used this one as a test bed for my ability to make a good template that is easy to use for someone who doesn't know all the inner workings of a website. For example, I scripted the "performances" and "gallery" sections so that all that is needed is a jpg image to be placed in a folder with its "Comment" tag being the text below the image.

while I was unable to make a photo-finish product in my opinion, I was able to learn more about php's scripting abilities and understand more about how to create more interactive webpages using it in conjunction with css.

I based it off of the Roll and Go website design, but added more twists and features that make it feel more complete. This was written in php and the front-end necessities (html, css, and sparse javascript) using Komodo edit (as nearly all my software projects have been thus far). You can view the completed site here.
